Union Hospital's surrounding community offers a rich mix of advantages, not the least of which is a safe, clean environment in which to raise a family.
Our cities and villages offer a blend of the traditional and modern, punctuated by an extensive system of parks, lakes, cultural activities and recreational facilities.
It's no wonder that every year hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the country come to our area for golfing, fishing, boating and the scenic countryside that includes fascinating Amish communities. An abundance of enriching opportunities in our area include our community theater and a philharmonic orchestra. Plus, we are home to Ohio's official outdoor drama, "Trumpet in the Land."
We also have excellent access to the larger cities thanks to our location along I-77. It's an easy 45-minute drive to Akron and 90 minutes to either Cleveland or Pittsburgh. We're also close to Akron-Canton Airport, or there's Harry Clever Field in our own community, which accommodates private aircraft.
